While not every organization has a true CLO, maintaining a formal role that works across the organization to help people do their best work everyday is essential in today’s business environment. In this way, span of influence is infinitely more important than title. After all, the CLO does not own workplace learning. But, by applying a modern mindset, they can show people that learning is perhaps the most important part of work.
