ATD China Summit

We live in the era of the connectivity of everything. Technology makes every piece of information we want accessible to us from anywhere and at any time. The development of any industry cannot be separated from the support of technology, and the same is true of talent development. The Association for Talent Development’s (ATD) 2020 Industry Status report reveals a rapid growth in the use of technology in real-time virtual classrooms and for autonomous online learning during 2019–2020. The use of e-learning within companies has risen from 1 percent to 20 percent during the previous five years to 21 percent to 40 percent today. Additionally, the report data was collected before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has since provided an even greater boost to learning technology.

Combining this with the requirement of technical application capability under ATD’s Talent Development Capability Model, ATD 2021 China Summit set its title as Technology Empowering Soaring Growth.
